Working with local artist Peter Mayer
Randy recently completed work on Peter Mayer's new
CD, Heaven Below. Released on April 24, Heaven Below is the ninth
recording by singer/songwriter/guitarist Mayer and features all new
original material. The album was mixed by Randy Gildersleeve, Marc
Anderson, and Peter Mayer, and mastered by Randy. Randy also recorded
on location the White Bear Unitarian Universalist Choir for the song
"Church of the Earth".
This is the third consecutive Peter Mayer CD Randy has worked on. Hear Peter Mayer on the internet station "Radio Heartland" and check out his website at petermayer.net.
Adventures in radio
GilderSound recently produced several radio
commercials for Twin Cities cleaning firm Ritzy Clean. The spots
feature owner Jeff Brills telling Twilight Zone-style stories of
harrowing or comical cleanup jobs. The theme song was performed by
Randy Gildersleeve and Andy LaCasse, with vocals by Jeff’s daughters
Summer and Selena. Listen for Ritzy Clean spots on Twin Cities metro radio
stations.
Composer Mike Croswell and ETHEL
Composer Mike Croswell and the string quartet ETHEL were in town for performances at the Southern Theater in October.
